Windswept (1992)

Music by David Lanz, Lesa R. Broadhead's choreography captures the essence of water and wind. Her love and appreciation for the forces of nature stem from the many hours playing on the beach with her grandmother. Windswept is a metaphor for the fun at the surf, the quietness, the turbulence, and her grandmother's final breath of life.

In A Brief Encounter

In A Brief Encounter is a commissioned piece choreographed by Chung-Fu Chang, Assistant Professor of Dance at Colorado State University. He describes the dance work as a "playful soft communication that can come from meeting a person that is in the same emotional, mental or physical place as you are."

Anticipation (1998)

Anticipation was commissioned by the Akron, Ohio Jewish Community Federation in May 1998 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the State of Israel. The work for seven dancers, set to the music of Mark Isham's On the Threshold of Liberty, shows the struggle, strength, and hope in the establishment of the new nation.
