Welcome

The Manchester Dance Ensemble is a pre-professional, not-for-profit company of talented dancers between the ages of 11 and 18. MDE is in residence at Dance Academy South, 3427 Manchester Road, Coventry Township, Akron, Ohio. The company members are auditioned in May of each year, and are required to take at least five classes per week in classical ballet, modern and jazz, which includes the weekly company rehearsals.

Also at residence at Dance Academy South this year is the MDE Junior Company, a talented group of dancers between the ages of 7-14. The junior company members are auditioned in May of each year, and are required to take at least four classes per week in classical ballet, modern and jazz, which includes the weekly company rehearsals.
